 Political Economy”. The aim is to analyze topics related to the institution
 al underpinning of fiscal policies. The workshop will focus on research at 
 the intersection of political economy, public finance, and macroeconomics.

 ies (fiscal and monetary policy, social insurance, taxation, transfer progr
 ams, public investment, public employment, regulation, education, and healt
 h); (ii) the effects of political reforms; (iv) the impact of budgeting rul
 es; (v) political polarization and partisan conflict; (vi) economic policy 
 uncertainty and its determinants.</p>
